About the Maker

A studio for slow, intentional objects.

Portrait of the maker

The Aura Glow began at a small worktable, with one candle, one trinket tray, and the quiet conviction that the everyday objects you reach for ought to feel made by a person.

Every candle is hand-poured. Every tray is hand-pressed. Every gift box is packed by the same pair of hands that shaped what's inside. Nothing here is assembled by a machine — and that's the point.

We work in small batches, with regional materials, and at a pace that lets the work breathe. If a season's collection takes a little longer, it's because the wax needed time to cure or the clay needed time to settle.

In the Studio

A room that smells of wax and citrus.

Light comes in from the east. A row of vessels cools on the windowsill. The kettle is always on. You can hear the wax click as it sets.
